Refine your technique.

Reclaim your artistry.

Hey, I'm Akansha!

Hey, I'm Akansha!

I'm a singing teacher on a mission to help professional and emerging musical theatre singers master your technique, achieve total artistic freedom, and love your career.

Remember how you started?

You started with

a dream...

The dream?

Walking into auditions knowing you'll smash it, performing consistently, getting paid, singing songs you love and, most importantly, feeling ready when it really counts!

But if you're like most singers, you:

- Don't have the time or motivation to practise

- Don't know WHAT to practise when you do have time

- Sound your best in class/performances/auditions but don't know how to recreate your best work

And you feel most motivated when you have an audition coming up, but by then you're already behind!

The good news is:

You don't need to work harder - you need clarity!

You've worked hard...

You deserve clarity:

  • Understand how your voice works, what it's great at, and what it can do if you put in the right kind of work

  • Know where your career is going: what you want, where your efforts align, and what needs to shift to make every audition feel like a win

  • Plan out exactly how to achieve your goals to make the next 12 months your best ones yet

  • Have an experienced, compassionate, voice-science trained teacher support you along the way

Stop guessing and start building the career you dreamed of.

Frequently Asked Questions

All of your questions answered!

Is this right for me?

The session is best suited for:

- Professional performers (emerging and established)

- Full-time performing arts students

- Singers auditioning for tertiary musical theatre and music programs

- Ex-professionals looking to return to performing

How long is it, and where does it happen?

The session is 90 minutes long, and is held online - you will be sent a Zoom link and calendar invitation when you book.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Yes! You'll need to bring a song to sing in the session - something you already know and feel comfortable singing.

We'll also be writing on your Voice and Vision Audit Booklet in the session (which will be sent to you beforehand) so you'll need to print it out, or download it to a tablet or laptop with PDF editing capability.

How is it different to a regular singing lesson?

While a regular singing lesson is designed to help you improve your technique, or prepare for an audition, the Voice and Vision Audit helps you create a foundation for all future lessons.

By conducting a full singing voice evaluation, setting clear goals, and creating a tailored plan, the audit will set you up to get the most out of your next 12 months of learning, practising and auditioning.

What if I already take singing lessons?

That's amazing!

If you're already seeing a teacher you love, this session will help you create a solid plan for your next 12 months of lessons (and hopefully give you more shared language to use with your teacher).

What if I just want to do regular lessons with you?

That's so exciting! The good news is that I do teach ongoing lessons, but I require new students to do a Voice and Vision Audit first.

Not every teacher is going to be right for every student, and it's important to know we're a good fit for each other before we commit to working together long-term.
