Hey, I'm Akansha!

I'm a singing teacher on a mission to help professional singers like you master your technique, achieve total artistic freedom, and love living your dream.

Remember how you started?

You started with a dream...

The dream?

Being paid to perform, buzzing on the energy of an audience, walking into auditions knowing you'll smash it, and feeling like you truly belong.

Most importantly, feeling ready when it really counts!

But if you're like most singers, you're probably stuck asking "what am I even doing here?" half the time, because no matter how hard you work you still don't know if you're doing everything you can.

What you're missing isn’t motivation - it’s direction!

You've worked hard...

You deserve clarity:

  • Understand how your voice works, what it's great at, and what it can do if you put in the right kind of work

  • Know where your career is going: what you want, where your efforts align, and what needs to shift to make your dreams a reality

  • Plan exactly what you need to do to make the next 12 months really count

  • Have an experienced, compassionate, voice-science trained teacher support you along the way

Stop guessing and start building the career you dreamed of.

Frequently Asked Questions

All of your questions answered!

Who is the Voice and Vision Audit best suited for?

The session is best suited for:

- Professional performers (emerging and established)

- Full-time performing arts students

- Singers auditioning for tertiary musical theatre and music programs

- Ex-professionals looking to return to performing

How long is the session, and where does it take place?

The session is 90 minutes long, and is held online - you will be sent a Zoom link and calendar invitation when you book your session.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

Yes! You'll need to bring a song to sing in the session - something you already know and feel comfortable singing.

We'll also be writing on your Voice and Vision Audit Booklet in the session (which will be sent to you beforehand) so you'll need to print it out, or download it to a tablet or laptop with PDF editing capability.

How is this different to a regular singing lesson?

While a regular singing lesson is designed to help you improve your technique, or prepare for an audition, the Voice and Vision Audit helps you create a foundation for all future lessons.

By conducting a full singing voice evaluation, setting clear goals, and creating a tailored plan, the audit will set you up to get the most out of your next 12 months of learning, practising and auditioning.

What if I already take singing lessons elsewhere?

That's amazing!

If you're already seeing a teacher you love, this session will help you create a solid plan for your next 12 months of lessons (and hopefully give you more shared language to use with your teacher).

What if I want to do ongoing lessons with you?

That's so exciting! The good news is that I do hold ongoing lessons - but I require every new student to do a Voice and Vision Audit first.

Not every teacher is going to be right for every student, and it's important that we know I'm right for you before we commit to working together long-term.
